Kirkby Quarry

Burlington Slate, Kirkby Quarry

Stephenson Halliday are in the process of preparing an EIA for proposals to extend and progressively restore Kirkby Slate Quarry on the edge of the Lake District National Park for Burlington Slate.

Stephenson Halliday recently coordinated an Environmental Impact Assessment and prepared all planning work for an Energy Recovery Facility at Kingmoor Park Industrial Estate, Carlisle.

Stephenson Halliday became involved in the Kirk Hill Wind Farm project in 2014. We provided landscape and planning services to our client Coriolis Energy Ltd, including LVIA and EIA coordination of this eight turbine scheme (110m to tip)
