PIRELLI FACTORY, CARLISLE

Pirelli commissioned Stephenson Halliday, to prepare detailed landscape design proposals relating to the proposed extension of their factory located on the southern fringe of Carlisle. The design proposals included the provision of screening from the surrounding residential areas, amenity planting and sports/ recreation facilities for staff use.

Preliminary sketch design proposals were approved by Carlisle City Council in May 2002, and were implemented later that year, following preparation of the detailed contract documentation for the landscape works.
