Energy production is an expanding sector and one in which Stephenson Halliday has an established reputation as one of the leading environmental planning and design consultants within the UK. We have particular expertise in co-ordinating planning submissions and Environmental Statements for wind energy and grid connection projects throughout the UK.

Our staff have experience of working within the energy sector since 1992, having been involved in planning submissions for over 80 wind farm projects in the past 15 years. We offer particular expertise in landscape and visual assessment assisted by the application of advanced 3D computer modelling software to assist in visualisation, animated photomontages and Zone of Theoretical Visibility (ZTV) analysis. Our landscape and planning directors have experience in the preparation of landscape and planning proofs of evidence and presentation at Public Inquiry.
