WITHERNWICK WIND FARM

Stephenson Halliday has coordinated the preparation of the Environmental Statement on behalf of Energiekontor UK to accompany a planning application for a wind farms in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We have used our in-house expertise in planning, landscape and visualisations to assist in the development of the scheme, the Environmental Statement and with post submission discussions with Statutory Consultees and the Planning Authority.

The Withernwick proposal is situated near the village of Withernwick, 6km south of Hornsea. The proposal consists of nine 2MW wind turbines and with a maximum blade tip height of 111m and if constructed would generate enough electricity for around 10,000 homes per year.
