MYNYDD Y CEMMAES RE-POWERING

The practice was commissioned to co-ordinate a planning submission and supporting Environmental Statement for a 15.3MW re-powering proposal at Mynydd y Cemmaes in mid Wales.

The scope of work included site design based on computer modelling, landscape and visual assessment, planning assessment, and extensive consultation with Statutory Consultees, and representative of the local community. Planning consent was granted in May 2001 and the scheme was commissioned following a 6 month construction programme.
