KENDAL SKI CLUB

Stephenson Halliday was involved in the design and implementation of an all season winter sports facility for Kendal Ski Club. This lottery funded project involved application of a revolutionary snow like material 'Snowflex,' enabling an interesting range of features to be incorporated into the design of the slope such as waves, moguls, and half pipes.

The project involved design of the slope and associated infrastructure in association with Briton Engineering Developments, and contract supervision during implementation. The winter sports centre has been a tremendous success, attracting snowboarders and skiers from across northern England for competitive racing and tuition.
