High House Farm

Stephenson Halliday produced a planning application and supporting statement for the erection of two farm buildings, extension of hardstanding area and provision for new access at High House Farm, Helsington, near Kendal, achieved through importing 70,000 cubic metres of inert waste material.

The design of the proposals reflected the nature of the farmstead and the character surrounding landscape as well as responded to the potential landscape and visual impacts of the proposed development. The project was granted permission in April 2007.
