Stephenson Halliday undertook planning and landscape work for a 500kW wind turbine at gReenlands Farm, near Wreay, Carlisle earlier in 2015. Working to very tight timescales, we prepared, submitted and managed the application through to approval in October.
The turbine will provide electricity to Greenlands Equestrian Centre which provides an important community resource in the area.
Following approval we have been involved with the preparation of materials required to discharge planning conditions, allowing installation of the turbine in early December.
Our client Peter Kavanagh, Director at Harmony Energy, said:
‘From start to finish Stephenson Halliday delivered an excellent level of service, managing to deliver on all aspects within a tight timeframe. The quality of work was excellent and their sector experience really added value. I would not hesitate in recommending their services.’
