Stephenson Halliday undertook the landscape design to create a distinctive setting for this development overlooking Carlisle Racecourse and the countryside beyond. The development comprises a mixture of new build semi-detached homes, town houses and apartments as well as sympathetic conversions of former stables.
The development is planned on sustainable principles and achieved Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. The landscape played a key contribution to this target and incorporated sustainable drainage solutions, wildflower meadows, and innovative communal green spaces.
