Stephenson Halliday co-ordinated the Environmental Statement and prepared all planning work associated with this development. We project managed a team of specialist consultants to produce a robust ES and lead discussions with the local planning authority throughout this process. We provided planning advice at the design stage and attended the public exhibitions attended by local groups and the communities closest to the site.
We ensured consistency throughout the ES, producing the introductory chapters and reviewing technical chapters, assessments and all figures and visualisations. We provided text for the non-technical summary and were responsible for producing the Planning Statement at a time of policy-flux within South Lanarkshire.
We provided our client with weekly updates and contributed to their planning approval strategy which identified risks to the project.
