Pennyfeathers is a proposed residential and mixed-use development near Ryde, Isle of Wight. The development will comprise 904 residential units, community facilities including a school, community centre and play areas, a commercial area and structural landscaping and management to form part of a wider country park as part of the Ryde Place Plan.

RSK Environment Ltd was commissioned to prepare the environmental impact assessment with RSK Landscape (now part of Stephenson Halliday) undertaking the landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA). RSK Landscape prepared a ‘landscape-led’ masterplan, inclusive of all hard and soft landscapes. This includes public realm, parks, parklets, boulevards, boundaries, play, wellbeing trails, boardwalks, bridges, wayfinding, edible landscapes, rain gardens, shelters and street furniture. We have prepared a landscape management plan to ensure the successful establishment of new landscape features and an increase in biodiversity for the benefit of future generations.
