Wind (on & off shore)

We have been involved in numerous wind farm projects of various scales spanning over 20 years, and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that adds value. We provide three main areas of expertise: We build, lead and co-ordinate specialist teams of consultants to deliver robust design and successful EIA outcomes; our chartered planning team have particular expertise in preparation of planning submissions and appeal statements across the UK; and, our team of chartered landscape architects provide robust landscape and visual assessment in line with best practice guidance along with all aspects of visualisation, 3D and GIS support.

We understand the challenges of both subsidy free developments and those that are self-funding to address on-site energy demands. Our experience is always pragmatic and focussed on an efficient design process maximising the commercial yield through use of tall turbines and careful layout design. We maximise efficiencies through effective screening and scoping work and all our work is ensured to be ‘Inquiry ready’, knowing that planning consent at a local level is increasingly challenging.

The following projects provide a snapshot overview of the range of projects we have worked on but cannot cover every example.
